Greek myth

The Cyclopes

Everything was fine on mount Olympus. All the Titans were in Tartarous. The problem was in Tartarous. One of the three fifty headed monsters had been killed. Now thanks to Hermes’ word Zeus, Ares and Hephaestus are heading straight to Tartarous to slay the Titans.

Their journey took them months and they had to conquer a lot of dangerous things. The worst by far was the conquering of the Minotaur. The Minotaur is a half man, half bull and is fed on human flesh. The gods saw no good in this beast and thought it was better sleeping until it was about to die.

The gods came into the Minotaur’s labyrinth and found the Minotaur in seconds. The Minotaur fought back as hard as it could but was no match for the incredible powers of the gods.

Unfortunately for the gods they still had the trek ahead of them. By the time the gods reached Tartarous the other two fifty headed monsters were in a bad way.

The gods immediately jumped on the Titans and proceeded to make them mortal. This battle of mortalism raged on for ten years. In the end Hera, Hermes, Appolo, Athena, Poseidon, Dionysus, Aphrodite, Demeter and Artemis helped ant won the war in moments.

They pulled the Titans apart and pulled the pieces back to Crete where they threw the pieces into the water creating islands. Then they made Epimetheus make one Cyclop for every island and called the group of islands the Cyclopes.

That is how the Cyclopes were created.
